I really loved this piano book. I had an old one from the 50's and the pages were crumbling so I really need a new one. What I really liked was that it came with a CD of the music so now I can play the CD to see how it is supposed to sound when I play it. I purchased this book for my granddaughter who is taking piano lessons and doing so well she even amazes her teacher. I know the John Thompson course from my own childhood as I learned on the books my mother learned on when she was a child. These are tried and true books and teach "something new in ever lesson." My granddaughter's teacher swears by them, and I agree. They are the best.
